Brief Life Summary: Who Was Jesus Christ?

Jesus (also called Christ which means king or Messiah) was born in Israel 2000 years ago. Modern civilization marks his birth by dividing time B.C. (before Christ) and A.D. (Anno Domini - or the year of our Lord). For his first thirty years, Jesus lived a traditional Jewish life, working as a carpenter. During this time, all of Israel was under Caesar's Roman dictatorship, including Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, and Nazareth, where he was raised.

In his thirties, Jesus began his public teaching and display of recorded miracles, yet still never travelled more than 200 miles from his birthplace. Over a three year period, despite his efforts to keep a low profile, Jesus' reputation spread nation wide. The Roman governors and rulers of Israel's provinces and the leaders of the Jewish people (the religious counsels) took note of him. Jesus' key messages included:

Many have asked "Who is Jesus Christ?" Jesus' most controversial act was that he repeatedly claimed to be God, which was a direct violation of the Jewish law. Therefore the religious leaders asked the Roman government to execute him. In each of several official trials, the Romans found that he was not guilty of breaking any Roman law. Even the Jewish leaders recognized that other than Jesus' claim to be God, Jesus followed the Jewish law perfectly. Still the religious leaders, using the argument of political disfavor, persuaded Pilate, a Roman governor of the Southern province of Israel, to authorize an execution.

Jesus was brutally tortured and then hung by his hands, which were nailed to a horizontal wooden beam (cross). This method of execution restricted the airflow to his lungs, killing him in three hours. However, according to more than 500 witnesses, Jesus returned from the dead three days later, and over the next 40 days journeyed in both the southern and northern provinces of Israel. To many, this was conclusive proof that Jesus' claims to be God were real. Then Jesus returned to Jerusalem, the city where he was recently executed, and according to witnesses, he left the earth alive by rising up into the sky.

As a result of these miraculous events, the number of his followers increased dramatically. Only a few months later in that same city of Jerusalem one record states that some 3000 new followers were added in a single day. The religious leaders responded by trying to stomp out Jesus' followers. Many of these people chose to die rather than deny their belief that Jesus was truly God.

Within 100 years, people throughout the Roman empire (Asia Minor, Europe) became followers of Jesus. In 325 AD, the following of Jesus, Christianity, became the official religion of the Roman Emperor Constantine. Within 500 years, even Greece's temples of Greek gods were transformed into churches for followers of Jesus. Although some of Jesus' messages and teachings were diluted or miscommunicated through the expansion of a religious institution, Jesus' original words and life still speak loudly for themselves.

My summary of Jesus is Christ. Jesus was born in Bethelham and raised in Nazareth. He was a carpenter who basically followed the rules. He was perfect and a gracious man. The jewish people could not understand and why he was prclaiming to be God, so they ordered him to be executed by the Roman empire. Jesus was excuted on a wooden cross. After being brutally tortured and hung on the cross with nails, he shortly died 3 hours later. After 3 days Jesus arose from the dead and many witnessed. He than had 3000 a day to follow him. Jesus continues to live today. He forgives us for our sins when we repent to him. He is a loving, gracious, forgiving God. I know him for my self. if you just have faith of a mustard seed and truly believe Jesus can fix it he will. Guaranteed.

I love U Jesus
Jesus also called Chirst (king or messiah) and in Bible there are many more name. Born in a miracle way, 2000 years ago in Israel. But its amazing to know that he worked as a carpenter upto 30 years of his age with his father and living like a traditional jewish. So after 30 year of his age he started public teaching. Think about todays world, after 30 years working as a carpenter and after 30 teaching somebody the WORD OF GOD. People will mock or will tell you that Idiot, he/she never went to school and now teaching us about the God. He even don't have theology degree. I think at that time Jesus was also having the same comments. The messages of jesus were very simple and best in the universe because its Only LOVE. Jesus taugt us that GOD loves ALL Everyone in this Earth. that's why he died for us. Just because God loves us so much he gave only his Son. JESUS. I LOVE U JESUS

Jesus is my Lord and Savior. He gave up His life so that all who believe in Him will be forgiven of their sins and have everlasting life with Him. He is amazing! He loves us so much. He is with us always. He will never abandon us. He will always be our light. He wants us to trust in Him. He wants us not to worry, but to have faith in Him. He wants us to have a relationship with Him, to look to Him for strength and guidance. He is an amazing God!

Jesus Christ was born in Israel 2000 years ago in a town called Bethlehem. He was raised by his earthly parents in a town called Nazareth. In Nazareth, He led a relatively normal Jewish life as a carpenter. As Jesus reached his thirties, he starts his public teaching and performed many miracles . Jesus quickly became popular and gained the attention of the religious leaders and the Roman government. The Jewish leaders hated Jesus because He claimed to be God and the Messiah. This claim was a violation of Jewish law and the religious leaders wanted Him to be executed. They went to the Roman Govenor, Pontious Pilate, and received authorization to kill Him. Jesus was brutally beaten and executed by hanging from a wooden cross. It took 3 days for Him to die. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. Jesus walked the earth for 40 days after His resurrention and was witnessed by more than 500 people. Jesus later ascended into heaven. These miraculous events brought many more people to believe that He was the Messiah and the Son of God. Religious leaders persecuted many believers of Jesus and many died rather than deny who Jesus really was.

Jesus was born in a Jewish community, raised by Mary and Joseph as righteous man. in his public life for three years, he gain respect from the Jews and even romans, but because of envious church leaders who were not get out from the bondage of traditions, accused Jesus as claiming as God. Ironically in exchange of certain Barrabas, a criminal, Jesus was hunged on the cross, the accomplishement of his mission to save us from sins.

What I know about Jesus today is that He is a loving man who loves sinners who repent their sins to Him in prayer and on a personal level. When I speak with Jesus in prayer I feel my burdens of the day lift, I feel my heart soften, I no longer feel that I am alone, I have this peace and calm inside that I never had before I had a relationship with God or Jesus.
