He said to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world." ( John 8:23) "No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man." ( John 3:13) "I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father." ( John 16:28) Jesus answered, "My kingship is not of this world; if my kingship were of this world, my servants would fight, that I might not be handed over to the Jews; but my kingship is not from the world." ( John 18:36) Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded and came forth from God; I came not of my own accord, but he sent me." ( John 8:42)
