Compassion is defined as a deep awareness of the suffering of another and the wish to relieve that suffering. I believe a compassionate nature is a gift from God and I am blessed. By: Patty - July 06, 2007 - Public Category: A Man With Leprosy |

 | Compassion |
The leper comes up to Jesus and begs to be cleansed. He shows his faith in the words 'If you want to, you can make me clean'. Out of his compassion, Jesus cleanses him not only of leprosy, but also of all his sins. Being of one spirit with God, Jesus knew that the leper would not follow his instructions, and he went forth telling others of Jesus' compassion in cleansing him. Jesus did not show the wrath, of which he surely was capable against this man, but went on healing and cleansing people, forgiving them for their past sins. | Jesus shows compassion and heals the leper |
Jesus first heals the leper, unconditionally, and then asks that he show his cleanliness to the priest, and to offer to the priest the commandments of Moses, that he may teach the true way of the Lord By: Richard Warren - May 03, 2008 - Public Category: A Man With Leprosy |

 | What is compassion, and do you possess it? |
Compassion is feeling the pain of others, and wanting to do something to relieve that pain. Similar to sympathy, but compassion involves more of a willingness to help another person in need. I can be compassionate, and do what I can, but I know that there is much room for improvement on my part. Jesus was compassionate with everyone, healing the sick refreshing the spirits of many. I hope to learn more of Jesus` compassion by taking this course. By: Michael Stipa - July 15, 2007 - Public Category: A Man With Leprosy |

 | What is compassion, and do you possess it? |
Compassion is a feeling of sympathy for another desperate and valuable human being, with a view of being able to help. I have compassion for desperate persons in need of help. Sometimes I help physically, yet other times only morally and psychologically. The spirit is willing but the pocket is weak. | What is compassion, and do you possess it? |
Compassion is human and humane feeling. To feel deeply for someone especially when they are suffering or having a problem.Jesus healed a lot of people and did a lot of miracles becuase He felt compassion for their suffering.
I believe I am compassionate and have gone out of my way to help people in need. But I wonder if anyone can ever show as much compassion as Jesus did:Never complaining, and always ready to help people even when He needed to rest. | What is compassion, and do you possess it? |
Compassion means to have mercy. Those who claim to be God`s people must also be merciful and have compassion for others. In particular they should give help to those in society who are liable to be disadvantaged, such as orphans, widows, aliens, the persecuted the afflicted and the poor. Yes! I do thanks to God loving kindness and tender mercies. Thank You! Lord Jesus. By: Al Benavides - July 05, 2007 - Public Category: A Man With Leprosy |
