Why is there so much emphasis on Jesus` death?
Without Jesus` death, none of us could be saved. His death, burial and then His resurrection are the crux of the Gospel.

If Jesus had not died for our sins (wrong-doing, selfishness and wrong thinking), then we would all be destined for Hell. There would be no hope. Jesus died for our sins, in our place, so that we could receive Him as Savior and be forgiven of our sins.
