What was Nathanael doing under the fig tree? We know that Jesus had seen him there and also he had no deceit in him. could it be that he was doing what was believed by Paul in Rom 9:4? Could it be that he was preparing for a (his) wedding that is to take place in 3 days?

What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel?
