The multitude wanted Barabbas released rather than Jesus because this was to be done according to the prophecy to be fulfilled and the will of God was Jesus to die on behalf of us.we were all sinners but though his death we became holy.and secondly the multitude wanted barabbas to be released because of the plasher from the high priests and that time the priests had power over government.

What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus? Peter was afraid that he would be prosecuted like Jesus so he denied his association with him and that is because peter after he saw that his lord was about killed then peter was full of fear and the results of fear is sin.and now days many people are fraid to to be identify with jesus because todays world is asking the christian whether we are real or not.

Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss? A kiss was a sign of love Judas was showing Jesus that he love him,and Judas thought that Jesus will not realise what he was doing,also Judas had givin the kiss as a sign to identify Jesus.
