Why did Jesus seem to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following Him? Didn`t He want these two to join Him? Of course Jesus wants everybody to follow Him; but Jesus also wants everybody to know what to expect from Him and that is not the comfort of this world.

Jesus, rebuked the disciples for being fearful. How should they have responsed to the storm? They should respond with no fear but having faith that along with Jesus there's no reason to worry.
