If I watched Jesus ascend to Heaven with my own eyes and I had not believed Him before, I would have repented my sins and believe Him on the instant, and if I had believed Him, then I would have believed more, and again make sure that I preach the gospel as witness as far the nations of the world can be reached.and on top of that iwould rejoice and tell the people who is he and what he can do for them. Because I know one day he will come back to take us to stay with him in paradaise.

How might you have felt seeing Jesus after knowing he had died? I would feel the same as the disciples, initialy scared, then Jesus would open my mind, so that I could understand what was happening. The Holy Spirit was sent from God to be a comforter to the disciples & other believers and that's the promise jesus promised us to sent,so that we may not got lost but the spirite came to be our guider.

Why were fulfillment of prophecies important? "note: Jesus predicted his death and resurrection? "...saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again...". There are also many accounts in the old testament describing the death and resurrection of the Messiah hundreds to thousands of years before the event. Fulfillment of prophecies is important because every word that God spoke was true and This was meant to confirm the believer's belief and to change the mind of the non-believers.
