Why does Jesus consider this woman`s desire to please Jesus more important than giving to the poor? Because the poor will always be with us and we can care for them whenever we want. He was on earth for such a short time and that woman in annonting him she had open heart to jesus and full of love/repentance that makes Jesus to consider her.
