Why did Jesus take just Peter, James and John with Him to witness his transfiguration?

Jesus trusted petet ,James and John because Jesus can see inside the man than looing out side only.so this guys was full of trust and bleaved in him than others.secondly was that they was quick minded than others.but not means that he had no trust in him but they had diffirent callings even if they was all disciples to him.

Why didn`t Jesus want his disciples to tell others that He was the Christ?

Jesus wants the puplic to see his great works and the great love he show to them which can made them to make research to him and in researching will be the best way of understanding who is he.Because the people of that time was called him the son of Joseph and un educated person,throw his disciples and the disciples was also among of them un educated people the population can't here them, but he wanted them to be challenged by his doings and knoldge and it may cause them to bleave that his really son of God.and few of them bleaved others refused.

How is the teaching of the Pharisees and Saducees like yeast?

A little yeast is enough to leaven bread...similarly their teaching could affect the whole community and Jesus wanted them not to follow that teachings so that they may not be like the pharisees the people with no faith because them they was guided by the long teachings and idiology,
