Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right? Because Pilate was afraid of the whole council, the highest Jewish judicial body to loose his authority. People put popularity above doing what is right because the're weak and afraid to tell the truth and to make the right decission, inorder to maintain their authority or position and most important it was to fulfill the prophecy.

What do you think Jesus was feeling at the point of his arrest? Even though Jesus knew that in order to fulfilled scriptures, that he was going to be arrested and persecuted.He was still feeling dissapointed by the the people he came to save they did not give the weight his coming and the porpuse of his coming.
