Because the poor will always be with us and we can care for them whenever we want. He was on earth for such a short time and that woman in annonting him she had open heart to jesus and full of love/repentance that makes Jesus to consider her.

Why does Jesus consider this woman`s desire to please Jesus more important than giving to the poor? Jesus wants us to see that we're on the right path as long as we act out of the desire to please Him.

Jesus said certain items belong to God that should be given back (rendered) to God. What are these items?
Accepting Jesus as our Lord & Savior asking forgiveness of our sins in Jesus' name. Obeying the 10 commandments We should also help spread God's message & teach others about Jesus & salvation. We belong to God & all creation belongs to him.Everything that He has given us and taught us to do. For everything we have here is Gods gift and our selves also we are God's property.
