Why did John introduce Jesus as "the Lamb of God"? Because it is according to the law of God given to Moses for the children of Israel, to offer the lamb which is spotless and without blemish for temporary remission of sins, so is sinless Son of a man, Jesus Christ, for permanet remission of sins for all.
