What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? Something surprising I learnt concerning Jesus Christ's backgound is that; Because the Jews were strict in there religion, they accused Jesus of blaspehrmy and because death penality cases were fowarded to Roman rule, it happened to Jesus Christ. This is because the Jews didn't believe whether Jesus was their Messiah of the covenant from God. As well Pilate could have been strong to disapprove the accusation if he saw the neccessity to do so but in contrary he didn't. This is because Jesus was not a Roman but of the second ranked society, the Jews.
