The religious leaders assembled a court to judge Jesus. Jesus answered only one charge made against him, and also gave evidence to prove the charge. What was the charge and for what was Jesus determined guilty? They tried Jesus for religious offences such as calling himself the Son of God, which, according to the law, was blasphemy. The trial was fixed as these religious leaders had already decided to kill Jesus.
