Jesus defines a great person as one who serves others. What did Jesus mean when he said he "did not come to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many."? He meant that he came to save the world from sin and to preach the gospel(good words).

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? The background of Jesus it surprise how God cares for his people, imagin you see how herod wanted to kill our savior when he was not yet finished what let him descend down from heaven,really God is God, and see how God keeps his promises even though the Israelites were subjects at fast to foreign rules but the word of God ramains truth and God lifted them after little while.
