Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? According to the gospel of St.luke Jesus said"When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return, and repayment come to you. But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." (a16"; "> Luke :-1-:1)and that is where he sat down and started observing how the multitude were putting money into the treasury and many rich people were putting in large sums and a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins which amount to a cent ,therefore he said the poor window put in more than all contributors to the treasury ;for they all put in out of their surplus ;but she out of her poverty; put in all she owned ;all she had to live on.That is how valuable being lowly is as to Jesus' requirements .
