Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? truly jesus suffered too much pain for all human beings and this simplifies that however believes in Him will never perish but rather an ever lasting life.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? Because Jesus had to die for our sins thats why he had to be go through physical and emotional pain. Not spiritual separation from God because spiritually this cannot be showed it is felt.
