He only declared power to them to cast demons (un clean spirits).that was the equipment they which Jesus gave to his twelve desciples. King Herod held power to kill as desired, yet he himself feared many things. What did he fear? Do have have any of his fears? King Herod had a lot of respect for the intergrity of John the Baptist and he secretely feared every word that he spoke. However, owing to pride brought about by his post of ruler over that area, he succumbed to pressure from his wife Herodias and ordered the death of John the Baptist.
