Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour? Because we are paid according to His grace and not our labour. He who studies our hearts will give us each according to His wishes.

Why did Jesus tell the rich man to sell all his possessions before coming to follow Him? Because riches are themselves gods. As you can't serve two masters then it will be difficult to serve both and get eternal life.
