Doing what is righteous, keep the word of the Lord hence this will save us from eternal fire. We will be God's children "According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?" To be loved by God,means our actions together with what God whants desires from us, are exactly the same.And so God provides us with every thing we need,protects us,feeds us,guides us and hence we should also develop the same kind of love for God .Also we should love our selves,our brother ,sisters,friends,relatives ,or any other,persons,before we can recieve God's love.Therefore to be loved by God is the same as we loving our fellow human beings no matter how they are related to us.Just as we know that when one loves,he or she will be happy if loved inturn.

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?" Love is both an attribute of God and a description of His being. He alone is the perfect example of divine love and the source of all true love. When God loves us, we are assured of his eternal salvation and we will not be destroyed on the Day of the Lord as we will be safe in Jesus Christ.
