4805 entries for this category: I think they were more than confused.Moreover, I even think that when Jesus told them that He would ressurrect after His death some of them thought that they would be eye wittnessess of the ressurection(action); some felt like they are left alone forever. He chose to show Himself to her as she was very determined to see her Lord, imagine the time at which she woke up just in want to see Her lords' body was laid after His death. He had to appear to them in that way to assure them of His presence with them,and He also did what He did to them to remind them that they are nothing without Him and that He is God Who make something out of nothing. What do you think the disciples felt when they saw the tomb was empty?
