Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?" Infact He achieved all because He demonstated God's Love by sacrifying himsellf for others and through this we hard the good news that makes us nave abundant life once we believe in His death and resurrection.

"Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?) How sad to talk obout but happy for He did this to free me from sin,he knew His time would come that He would leave the earth and what they did to him is to give us the glimse of salvation and to make us press on the more, even under a lot of rebelion.
