Why was it evil for the scribes and Pharisees to ask a sign from Jesus? ASKING FOR A SIGN IS AN INDICATION OF MISSTRUST AND DISBELIEF.THEY KNEW VERY WELL THAT JESUS IS THE MESSIAH YET THEY JUST WANTED TO GET THE CROWD NOT TO BELIEVE IN HIM,WHICH IS EVIL THING TO DO.

Why was it evil for the scribes and Pharisees to ask a sign from Jesus? They never believed that Jesus was true son of GOD, maybe they thougth that GOD will send son directly from heaven but not to be born by anyone in the earth.
