But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..

JESUS WANTED TO TEACH ALL PEOPLE THAT HE IS THE SON OF GOD AND HE HAS THE LIFE EVERLASTING IN HIM AND HE IS READY TO GIVE IT TO THOSE WHO FOLLOW HIS WAYS.
