2395 entries for this category: i think because herod had made an oath God let him fulfill his oath because he had no choice The unbelief of the country men prevented jesus from doing mircles because it doesnt make sense to to perform miracles to people who dont believe Why did God allow John to be beheaded by Herod? herod was not not Godly ,his intent to have his brothers wife was not godly . his brothers wifes daughter made him swear to do anything to which he did. john had told him it wasnt lawful. she got prompted by the mother . i think prophesy had to be fulfilled.
