Why was it important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation? Because he had taken on the human nature he was tempted like any one of us can be tempted but He did not sin.This was important so that we can also learn to obey God in every kind of temptation.We can learn to be strong when we are tempted.Jesus overcame evil for the sake of all human race.
