He wanted everyone to believe in Him as the Messiah and not just someone who was a miraculous healer. The prophecy about Him had to be fulfilled - His cross would eventually win victory over Satan.

Why does the Father hide things from the wise and intelligent and reveal them to infants? In proverbs 1:7 we are told that to have wisdom you must first have reverance for the Lord.The wise people have no room for God while infants are eager to hear from God and are always thirsty.

What was Jesus trying to teach people when He deliberately violated the Sabbath in order to heal people? He wanted to show as that we also need to do good on the sabbath.Show mercy to all people.
