Why did God choose such a unique way (through a virgin birth) to bring Jesus into the world?

There are two reasons for this qustion. One, is because of fulfillment of prophacy. It was prophased 400 B.C that Virgin will give birth.

Two, is because of prophates who Preceded Jesus. They were rejected by people because of the ways they come to existence.

So, Jesus came in the way men are coming to the world and made himself one of us (Emmanuel) which means God with us.

Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus?

These women are mentioned in the geneology of Jesus because they did not ruined by their scandals.Rahab saved the spies sent by Joshua and she was incorporated in Jewish people and later she got married to Salmon, a prince of tribe of Judah. Ruth was married to Boaz, she become mother of Obed, the grandfather of David.

Tamar the daughter-in-law of Judah and lastly Uriah's wife (Bethsheba) who was seduced by David and got married to David after the death of her husband Uriah.

You can conclude that they are related to those people in Jesus's geneology.
