He did what he did for the sake of fulfilling the purpose of his mission. The temple cleansing was done to show that the temple will be the place where the God will be worshiped. Jesus want us to stop thinking of anything else when we are in the temple. The leaders are required to serve the people and not otherwise. Telling people what they should do and how is surpposed to be done to those who does it properly is not a problem, but to those who want to do it for themselves is insult. whatever Jesus was for the kingdom of heaven.

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?" Jesus accomplished all the purposes were assigned to him.Just to mention these purposes,the first purpose was to reconcile man and his God following the disobedient of a man to the will of God.Jesus accomplished this by dieing on the cross. Second purpose was to preach the Good news to every body. Through holly spirit this is done and continually being done. now the kingdom of God is within the people who trust and believe in him.
