Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right? The only reason Pilate did it, is because he wanted to please the multitude. Time and again we all do the same for fear of people against our rightful conscience which is from GOD! We need to do what is right whatever costs!

The religious leaders assembled a court to judge Jesus. Jesus answered only one charge made against him, and also gave evidence to prove the charge. What was the charge and for what was Jesus determined guilty? "I AM. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky."

In anticipation of what is ahead, Jesus experiences intense emotions, described as trouble, distress and exceeding sorrow. What final decision does Jesus make here in discussion with his "Abba Father" (daddy)? To accept and surrender to the will of his Father. We also have our needs in life but we need to accept God's wishes first.
