Jesus was trying to inform his followers and believers and leaders so that they understand him better and they do not get surprised at the time of his death.

This would also help to assure the public that he was a son of God.

I do believe that  Jesus accomplished all of these purposes.He demonstrated love through many gestures such as washing his desciples' feet, dying for the sins he did not commit but to set us free.

Many had lost hope i can say am one of them but through the death and resurrection of christ plus the miracles he performed in his days and the promise that whatever we ask for in his name will come to pass, gives good news. Through his teaching using parables also helpped him accomplish the purpose of making us understand how the kingdom of God works.
