If John Jesus is sinless; however, it would be difficult for him to be accepted and acknowledged if He didn't go through this baptism of John the Baptist. This was also a way through God the Father would reveal that Jesus is the messiah through the Dove.

If you were Mark, writing a short report to demonstrate to a Roman audience that Jesus (a Jewish man) was "the Son of God", what would you include in that report? That He (JESUS) was born of a virgin Mary; and the evidence of the angels that came to see Jesus and even how the name JESUS came to be bestowed upon Him. The way Jesus spoke and the miracles are enough evidence that He was the true son of God.
