Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

Yes, He does. According Jesus every person was valuable whether young or old, rich or poor, small or great. The value Jesus attached to each one based on the payment He made for all mankind. Therefore, according to Jesus value was not based on class or tribe. But the openness of Heart of people towards Jesus.

Thank you.

True God he was yet humbly he came in human likeliness till death and most shameful death on the cross. Rose on the third Day and ascended to Heaven now His seated at the right hand of the father. What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?
Religiously, I learnt that Jesus as a messiah who was promised and foretold by the prophets in the old testamet was not recognized by his own because the people expected a poplitical messiah to bring political freedom and spiritual renewal but Jesus came as a humble son though he did not comdemn any of their practices but fulfilled it through grace and love.
