Define "Compassion"?

Compassion in this lesson means a deep feeling towards people's suffering backed-up with the willingness to help them come out of that suffering. For example the leper who beseeched Jesus while on his knees for him to make him clean and Jesus did. Mark 1:40-42.

What lesson do you think Jesus was teaching His disciples when He fed the multitude with five loaves and two fish?

Jesus was teaching the disciples to be compassionate. While the disciples wanted the masses to go, Jesus realised their need since it was already late.

Jesus was also teaching them to trust in God. To the discipples it was only 5 loaves of bread & 2 fish not enough for them while Jesus was seeing a meal for all.

What is there about the Kingdom of Heaven that makes it worth forsaking everything else to obtain it?

Eternity: When we consider eternity to our earthly life challenges, which are but for a short while. Even the earthly lifetime isn't any where near eternity.

Matt 6:33 Chrsit tell us "Seek first Or the kingHis kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be Or providadded to you." We are not our own we created for His purposes.
