Jesus exaggerates to makes the point that one should eliminate things that cause one to sin (disobey God). What things might you eliminate to be more spiritually healthy?

Brethens, first of all apology for not being so regular in this important discussion due to difficulties I face in accessing the Internet services. As a human being who is weak and surviving by God's Grace, I need to remove greed and selfishness for out of these other acts like stealing, killing, telling lies, abortion etc are born. In all, I need to resist the wants for the worldly pleasures.

Jesus emphasizes the phrase "in my name" when refering to the miracle and giving a cup of water. What does it mean to do something in Jesus` name?

To do something in Jesus name, is a command to obey and honor that name. "JESUS' is a name exalted above all other names- in heaven and on earth. When the son of man is lifted up -in our works- HE shall draw the world to himself, and ultimately deliver the world to the Kingship of God the Father. The Name "JESUS' is POWER AND AUTHORITY" over all dominions, Principalities, powers, in heaven and on earth, and we who are really saved are so saved in his name-alone.

How does Jesus define greatness, and is caring for a little child an example of greatness?

Jesus has given a landmark new defination of "GREATNESS". It involves being the lowest, and infact being a SERVANT. Beginning with the twelve disciples, it should spread to all the so called GREATS of God's Current Kingdom on earth.

The little children represent angels, and caring for them is Godly virtue.
