1251 entries for this category: How did Jesus behave in sharp contrast to how religious leaders acted? Jesus was a perfect measure of morality. The rest fell short of moral standards. While the tax collectors and sinners actually accepted their degenerate moral levels, the pharisees did not. The Pharisees thought, wrongly though, that they were morally upright. Saul, who later converted to Paul, was also a Pharisee. Today we see that Jesus ws setting new standards to which everyone needed to adjust inorder to please God. The Pharisees pleased man by their actions, not God. Jesus' behaviour showed that He fully knew his mission on earth: To seek and to Save--them that are lost. This proactively dictated his behaviour to all.
