How can we avoid being darnel weeds and instead be children of the Kingdom? john says as a branch, we should remain in him, just as he is in the father. This is the Father - Son - I fellowship. If I do not remain in him, I will be chopped off and burnt in fire. darnel weeds are the believers who knew the truth, and later abandoned their faith - backsliders. The devil sowed doubts in them. We should remain steadfast in Jesus to avoid being darnel weeds.

Why did Jesus speak to the people in parables, rather than just stating things directly? Jesus was the fulfilment of the law and the prophets, and thet prophesied long ago that the son of God would reveal the mysteries by way of parables. This will help blind eyes to open up and see the truth and realities which would otherwise be impossible to appreciate if he had talked plainly. Remember, Jesus talked plainly to his disciples about his death, and ressurrection, but they understood him not. Also talking in parables reduces on distortion and enhances memory, since parables are based on everyday sayings and events. God bless you.
