In other words one who pretend to be Holy before the Living God, whereas he/she is not. Therefore, God is not pleased with anyone who claim to be holy before God because he/she will potray wrong teachings/imae of God to the non believers. Why is it that God is so upset with hypocrites? What makes hypocracy so wrong? Hypocrites are like the seeds that fell among thorns in that parable. They may grow, but will never bear any fruits. They may trample on the pearls becoz they despised the only true love of God for mankind. They have the knowledge of salvation, but lack its power. They need to re dedicate afresh, or they are destined to hell, yet they grow and live among the true believers. The parable of the wheat and the tares is a case in point. Hypocrisy is therefore dangerous to the body of Christ, hence the comparision to the dog that will tear us a part. God's plan os in love, to keep us safe, pure and undefiled.
