In what ways do followers of Jesus fish for men? What does this mean?

Hello dear friends, By preaching the word of God to people who don't know Jesus.When the followers do that, they are fishing people to follow Jesus. Fishing for men means telling people about the good news and when they accept and repent or change and confess their sins, they get to know the truth.

How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place? What is there about Jesus teaching that is like light?

Hello dear friends, Well when Jesus came into this region, he was the light into of the place. This place was in darkness so Jesus brought light into the place by preaching the good news to people in this region and performing miracles there.

How did (does) repenting prepare someone for the Kingdom of God?

Repentance is a holy and righteous virtue, godly and prompted by the Holy Spirit. Man comes to self actualisation, realising that he is lost, wayward and off God's mark. Man in sin is seperated from God, and is under God's wrath. Repentence is when man turns around to make ammends - putting things right with God- so that the rebellious heart and mind is eroded, and replaced with a heart humble, contrite, and more obedient to God's statutes. This way, fellowship with God is restored through the Work of the Holy Spirit. Repentance therefore restores a broken relationship, and restores fellowship between man and God.
