Why did Herod try to kill Jesus?

Hello dear friends, Ofcourse King Herod never wanted to be overthrown. So he would do anything to retain his power.But I have a feeling that since it was a God's inteded plan, may be the devil entered him and made him think that way.

Why was all of Jerusalem troubled about the birth of Jesus?

Hello dear friends, Ofcourse because the saviour of this world was born. Whenever a king is born somethings supernatural have to happen..........Atleast for Jesus' sake every thing that was prophesized had to come to pass and that was the time for that. Herod new that he would be over thrown so he was kind of terrorised, he knew that his kingship would be compromised by the new baby boy.Other people wanted to see the saviour of Isrealites whereas others thought may be it was an upset in the making or like it wasn't true and they didn't bother at all but for the three wise men knew that indeed the saviour was born and they brought presents to him and went back through another route so as to not to disclose the information to Herod.

Why did God choose such a unique way (through a virgin birth) to bring Jesus into the world?

Hello dear friends, With God you can't search him. He can do it on his own and for this matter choosing avirgin was his way to bring the saviour but also in canal understanding virgin somehow represents purity, new. So he wanted the saviour to comeout of a pure mother as regards to the prophesy.
