Why are Jesus` followers called "children of light"?

Hello dear friends, Because they are the ones proved to know the truth and this truth is in Jesus christ.And according to the bible God deals with light and the devil in the dark and the two have nothing to share in common.Therefore when you follow Jesus,you're the in the light and when you follow Satan or devil,you're in darkness.

Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem?

Hello dear friends, When we look at Jesus' life since time memorial, humbleness was his character and so is the character of God.So entering Jerusalem on donkey was partly to fulfil the prophesy, but also to teach us our much we ought to be humble.Remember the bible says somewhere in peter am not really certain whether 1st or 2nd that God rebukes the proud but gives grace to the humble.To God be the groly Amen.

Why was Mary`s annointing so meaningful to Jesus?

Hello dear friends, What she did was indeed great and I believe any man would get suprised about that.But she had reasons to do that Jesus had raised her brother from the dead and this action moved Jesus because he didn't expect her to pour this expensive oil on his feet.To me it's asymbol of surrender and great love to Jesus and I think Jesus too felt the same way, Mary had surrendered whatever she had to Jesus by doing that.
