What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel? The testimony of Andrew about the one of whom the Law of Moses, and the prophets talked of; and the very confirmation by Jesus himself that he saw Nathanael under the fig tree were convincing enough reasons to believe him, who is born to be Son of God, and King of Israel. All jews at this time were conscious that a messiah was born and is alive, and were actually looking for him. That was why Jesus moved to Galilee.

What do you think Andrew saw in Jesus that caused Andrew to follow Him and tell Simon about Him? You know that to get in touch with Jesus can never leave you the same. Andrew was John's disciple, and Simon Peter was his younger brother. They went out in search for the lamb of God, and they found him, and they became the first of Jesus' disciples. Praise the Lord.
