Because the labourer is where the harvest comes from hence you need to pray for the labourer

He actually ment that the born again should continue to spread the word of God.

Jesus was born in jerusalem 2000 years ago in bethelhem at aplace were cattle is herd to Joseph a carpenter and Mary,he started preaching in the synagogue at the age of 12 years.However he was condemned by the jewish leaders because of claiming to be God and because of the message he preached to the jewish community.Notwithstanding the pressure jesus continued to move on the ministry until his fate was met when he was crucified on the cross purposely because of you and me by those who failed to understand who he was.in conclusion its vital to assert that had the jews not scaded and done all sorts of things to torture him,he wouldn't have fulfilled his fathers' mission in heaven.
