How did Jesus equip his disciples for powerful work by taking away their material possessions?

Hello dear friends, I think Jesus never wanted the disciples to think of any other thing that would distruct them on the way to the mission.So was trainning them and on top of that he had given them authority to do miracles meaning that incase they would want food still they would do such a miracle.The issue hear is having the authority in Jesus you can change and create whatever you.So he didn`t want them to get distructed on the way by the worldly things and perhaps along the way Simon Peter would tell his friends to let him keep the wallet and be in charge of finance hence distructing the mission the went to.

Jesus could not do a mighty work in his own town among relatives because of disbelief. What is disbelief?

Hello dear friends, This has huge significant to us today.Jesus was born not as king in a kraal and he grew up as a carpenter.So people who saw Jesus from childhood didn`t believe b`se they knew him from A to Z so they knew his family and some there hearts were stiff to the extend that even when he performed miracles, they still doubted him.People`s point of view will always look from your background and then determine what you can and what you cannot do which is not the same principle with God.So they used his backgroud to disguise his words and miracles and hence making Jesus perform few miracles in his home town.

Faith allowed power to flow from Jesus even without his initiative. What is faith?

Hello dear friends, Faith is believing something that you don`t see according to Heb 11 and 12 we see great men who believed God and things happened talk of Abraham and somany others.Now we see that Jairus had little faith than the woman with the issue of blood.Jairus didn`t know that mere believing God can make his daughter well instead he wanted Jesus to go and lay hands on her to come back to life.Whereas this woman didn`t care whether disciples where there or not she just went a head and touched Jesus`s garment believing that she would be healed by just touching on the cloth of Jesus perhaps this has a huge significant than we may seem to understand am looking at this woman who by then according to Jewish culture was not allowed to even walk in public.But she goes forth believing that this year am gonna have my miracle I don`t care who is seeing me , who can stop me and what the culture says.She breaks the tradition and goes forth to put her faith in action by touching the cloth.So this woman believed God to the point that she broke the Jewish tradition of not walking in Public under such conditions, this implies that with faith you can go a head and do something contrary to the law as long as you want your miracle from God i.e where people are dashing for parties you can decide to fast and seek God the more.This what is called faith when there`s nothing to see but believe no him for your miracle and in his due season your miracle will surely come.Groly be to our faithful God.
