Can you explain the word picture Jesus uses (vs. 27) about how to rob the house of a strong man?
In robbing the house of a strong man, you have to overpower and put him under your control. This can be done only when you have the capacity. Jesus said he could defeat satan and plunder his house because he Jesus had the capacity superior to satan. Bible says, The one in us is greater than the devil in the world. Remember as a temple of God, the holy spirit dwells in our houses, and is stronger than satan, so the holy spirit has capacity to plunder the devils goodies, clean the house, and reorganise for Christ`s sake.Amen.

When religious leaders accused Jesus of working on the day of rest (Jesus), why did Jesus get so angry?
Jesus had every reason to get angry at those Pharisees. First, they kept the law blindly, without knowing what the sabbath was meant for. Secondly, their priorities were lopsided, ie, keeping the law vis a vis saving life or doing good. Thirdly, their intensions fell short of recognising the Lordship of Jesus. Lastly, when put to task with a question, they simply kept quiet. Jesus was burning with the desire to do good-to heal, while they were burning with the conspiracy to kill. Jesus had to express his anger as a way of dealing with that yeast of the Pharisees. God bless you.

When asked about a religious practice (fasting), why does Jesus describe how old and new may not be compatible?
The Pharisees wereexperts in the Old Testament Laws of Moses. John was the Link between the old and the new. He preached baptism of repence by water. Jesus is the new covenant. His baptism is by water, fire and he sealed the new covenant with his own blood. Grace and truth came with Jesus. Successful followers of Jesus would find difficulty if they tried to fit their understanding of the new, in the context of the old. Believers of Jesus Christ simply needed to deny themselves, deny the past, take up their cross, and follow Jesus; otherwise they risk losing both the wine, and the newpatch on the old skin, thereby creating an even bigger hole ''emptiness of knowledge''. That`s what I think.
