Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)

No! it was already planned in the bible that the son of man will be tortured and be killed by merceless people and after 3 days he will rise again from the dead.

Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?

Hello dear friends, I strongly believe that Jesus complished the purpose of love by laying down his life for this world.As it`s written in John 3:16 that For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes him should not perish but have eternal life and that he did not come to condem this world but this world to be saved.This is the greatest love where one gives his life for his friends and Jesus completed this purpose of love.
