Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?

Hello dear friends, To me love is the reason as to why we are called God`s children today.Because when the bible says that there`s greater love than to lay down your life for others.To me the reason for us to be called God`s children is because for he loved us so much and he send his only beggoten son to die for the whole world.Love is giving and b`se he loved us he gave that`s why the bible say that what you love other people to do for you first do it for them as you can see in today`s lesson and also another scriptures says that we should love our neighbours as we love our selves.''Mat 22:37'' So love the overall issue of our bieng.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.

The word forgive comes after something wrong has been done. Being forgiven therefore increases ones love for God in a way that however much one has wronged, God is ever forgiving. Then eventually one has to increase his love to the one who is ever forgiving.
