Define Compassion?
Hi everyone, To me compassion is when you feel moved deep in your heart concerning what you`re seeing or hearing. When I study Jesus in Mat 15:32, Jesus seeing the maltitude he was moved and he said to the desciples how felt for the maltitude who had moved with him for three days sending them away hungry. In Human no boday could give them food when they have not asked for it and actually even the desciples never dared to pronounce anything like food at that moment because they knew that it was impossible for them to eat minus the multitude and even putting that aside they knew that even they master could also be hungry. So am looking at the compassion which our lord jesus christ had on the maltitude that`s he felt it and then did it so compassion is first felt deep in our hearts and then we stretch our hands or love to follow it with actions.

Define Compassion?
Compassion is a state of the heart where one deeply and rightly feels sorry or sympathetic for another who is in a bad situation. In the case of Jesus Christ, Compassion was followed by an action that tended to restore a situation back to normal. Eg, the dead were raised to life. The deaf heard. The blind saw, and the Hungry were filled.

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?
As Jesus and his disciples went to Jerusalem to celebrate passover, the event showed that the time had come when Jesus was going to die as a new lamp in the process of bringing reconciliation between sinful man and God. Since the reign of the Messiah was expected to be peaceful and harmonious, Jesus avoided the popular demands for fighting against the Romans. They expected a Messiah from David`s lineage as a great king who would liberate them. And if Jesus had declared himself a Messiah, he would be asked to use violence in fighting the Roman government, yet He was meant to promote peace.
