Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour? I think in this parable Jesus wants to teach to us that He is a promise keeper. he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day so he acted according to what was agreed. but at the same time Jesus wants to teach us also that God is good and He gives in abundance to those He has called himself to do his work. and those who are called to do God`s work should not worry or be jealous of the working condition of the other workers, they just need to do what they should do and receive with a thankful heart what God is giving to them.
